Sean Roach at World Internet Summit UK 2007

Sean RoachSean Roach did one of the most entertaining talks of the World Internet Summit and as a result was the winner of the best speaker award. Possibly the fact that at one point he was handing out dollar bills might of helped! He was talking about what he was calling web 3.0 or social marketing.

He was promoting two products Rip2it and GotAccess, which is yet to launch. Rip2it is a system for rapidly building content sites to put adsense and affiliate links on, and also to promote your own products.

As well as promoting his products he gave some useful advice on finding niches to promote and provided my favourite quote of the weekend “Jump and grow wings on the way down”

  1. Sean Roach is an COOL speaker…no wonder he is voted the best speaker for over 7 times now (I believe)

I attended the World Internet Summit in Auckland, New Zealand this July 2009…

It certainly was an AWESOME summit…I really applaud the efforts of Tom & Brett involved in organising such an event.

All the speakers delivered beyond my expectations, it was great fun to meet like minded people and the have this JV deal thingy going which is a great idea!!!

Not to mention the unique internet challenge, what a novel idea!!!…and I believe this time it set a record for the total amount of over $30k!!!

Just FYI, I was so inspired by the event, that I decided to setup a forum setup exclusively for the attendees and called it WORLD INTERNET FORUM…forum of the attendees, for the attendees and by the attendees!

You may wish to check it out here:
