Sean Roach did one of the most entertaining talks of the World Internet Summit and as a result was the winner of the best speaker award. Possibly the fact that at one point he was handing out dollar bills might of helped! He was talking about what he was calling web 3.0 or social marketing.
He was promoting two products Rip2it and GotAccess, which is yet to launch. Rip2it is a system for rapidly building content sites to put adsense and affiliate links on, and also to promote your own products.
As well as promoting his products he gave some useful advice on finding niches to promote and provided my favourite quote of the weekend “Jump and grow wings on the way down”

Adam Ginsberg’s talk was entitled “How To Succeed Wildly on eBay”, and he should know having made over $20 million on eBay himself. I enjoyed this talk a lot, Adam is a very entertaining speaker. He was also talking about a subject close to my heart as I have a product called “How To Build Your List With eBay“. He touched on some of the topics I cover in my report in his talk.
As “How To Build Your List With eBay” links in so well with Adam’s talk it will be one of the bonuses you will get when you purchase the DVD’s of the World Internet Summit from me. To be kept up to date with the release of the DVD’s and the bonuses I’m going to be offering remember to fill out the form on the left of this page.

Tracy Repchuk was the first speaker on the second day of the summit. Tracy’s story is the reason why most people come to these events in the first place. In September 2006 she was in the audience of a World Internet Summit just like we were. Now she’s one of the speakers at the summit and she made over $95,000 in her first five months.

Tim Brocklehurst did what was possibly the most confusing talk of the four days of the World Internet Summit. His talk was about viral marketing and list building, and in particular, his product My Viral Spiral.
My Viral Spiral turned out to be quite a confusing product but possibly very, very powerful, so I think I’ll be watching through his talk again on the DVD’s, which will help me understand what My Viral Spiral has to offer.

The World Internet Challenge was carried out by Shaune Clarke over the four days. The challenge was to make money on the internet over the four days of the summit. He set up a blog, Grapevine Guru to help promote interviews with wine experts he was selling. This would then lead onto a membership site.
We were shown the whole process and given updates over the four days. It really was a useful exercise. Quite a number of the other delegates I spoke to over the weekend were going to copy the process themselves to promote there own products.

Shaune Clarke was the second speaker on day one. His talk was titled “How to Guarantee You’ll Succeed On-line - Craft Your Vision”. This talk wasn’t so much about being a successful internet marketer but about being successful in general. He emphasised the importance of having a vision of where you want to be in the future. In fact not just a vision, but a written statement that you read every day to remind you where you are heading.
I really enjoyed Shaune’s talk. It’s these sort of techniques that help you through the days when you start doubting what your doing and you question if your on the right path.

The first speaker on day one was Brett McFall. Brett along with Tom Hua are the organizers of the whole event. Day one was called newbies day, so Brett’s talk “Internet ABC’s” was a good way to start the day. He went through 7 steps to create a profitable online business.
This was a very good talk. It contained solid information that can be taken away and used straight away without the sales pitch at the end! This is definitely one of the DVD’s that I’ll be watching over a couple of times as the talk was basically a blueprint to start up an on-line business.
All in all it was a very good start to the World Internet Summit UK 2007.

The venue for the World Internet Summit UK 2007 was Earls Court. The Venue was great and the staff very helpful. If fact all the staff working over the weekend, both the Earls Court staff and Tom & Brett’s Summit staff were very helpful.
I particularly like Art Deco styling so being in this building for the summit was a pleasure. Even the lifts were stylish!

Here’s a video of some of the speakers at the World Internet Summit UK 2007. It’s clips from all the speakers on day two of the event.
You can see me in it as well! To be more precise you can see the back of my head. I’m wearing a red hooded jacket and you can see me and the bottom of the picture, mostly during Sean Roach.
